On the left side of the table and from left to right: Mr. James F. Jones, Mr. ? Clodfelter, Mr. Jim Brakefield, Mr Fisher DeBerry and the person who is next to last in that row is Dr. Carl Messere.

 

This is apparently an athletic gathering since all I recognize are athletic directors or coaches.

This image shows members of the faculty at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) sitting at a table eating in Welborn Cafeteria, built 1925, during a banquet in the 1960s. A staff member can be seen standing on the left pouring coffee. On the left side of the table and from left to right: Mr. James F. Jones (former Athletic Director), Mr. Clogston (Athletic Director), Mr. Jim Brakefield (Head Football Coach, Mr. Fisher DeBerry (Assistant Foorbal Coach) and second to last in that row is Dr. Carl Messere (Assistant Football Coach and Accounting Department).
