Description

This image shows Mr. Bob McFarland (Department Of Curriculum and Instruction Faculty) working with a device in the Audio-Visual Center in the Education Building, built 1925, at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1960s. He can be seen holding up a lid with fluorescent lights on the interior. The Audio-Visual Center provided technical assistance as well as audio recordings and educational films for students and teachers.
