SGA Vice-President Seth Lawless, 1985

This image shows Seth Lawless, vice-president of the Student Government Association at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1985-86. Founded in 1939-1940 as the Student Council, the Student Government Association serves as the students' only official voice to the Appalachian administration. The Student Senate is the main governing body and is composed of elected on and off campus students. The vice-president led the meetings of the legislative branch of the Student Senate. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 76).
