This image shows Attorney Wade F. Brown sitting at a desk at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1986-87. Brown practiced law in Boone, NC, for 56 years and worked as attorney for Student Legal Service at Appalachian State. The Student Legal Service is now the Student Legal Clinic in the Office of Student Conduct and is staffed with a licensed attorney who provides free legal advice to students. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 271).
