Description

This image shows three students studying history between classes in a hallway in Whitener Hall, built 1954, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1986-87. The Department of History provides programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts in History, Bachelor of Science in Teaching and Social Science Education, and a non-teaching Bachelor of Science degree, and Master's in History, History Education, and Public History, as well as general education courses. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 125).
