This image shows the reception following a meeting of the College Republicans at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the early 1970s. A group of students can be seen pouring punch into a cup for an attendee. Previously known as the Young Republicans, the College Republicans focused on getting students involved in the political process and and promoting the Republican platform.
