Description

This image shows a group of students participating in a student boycott of classes in protest of the escalation of the Vietnam War on April 21, 1972. Students can be seen sitting on Duncan Mall at Appalachian State University (1967-current). Students can be seen sitting in the windows of Duncan Hall, built 1965, in the background. The event was part of a larger Rally Weekend, sponsored by the Student Government Association, that was canceled due to rain.
