Miss ASU Pageant, 1975, photo 2

This image shows a group of students participating in the first annual ASU pageant at Appalachian State University (1967-current) on November 21, 1975. The three women who placed can be seen standing on a platform in the center, while the other contestants stand on the right. Fifteen contestants were judged on talent, interview, swim suit, and evening gown competitions. The winner participated in the Miss North Carolina pageant in 1976.
