This image shows a photographer looking at a leaf and holding a camera during the U. S. Hang Gliding Championships held at Grandfather Mountain near Linville, North Carolina, from the top of the mountain in the 1970s. The event was sponsored by the United States Hang Gliding Association, a non-profit organization that supported non-motorized, foot-launched hang gliding.
