Majorettes, 1985-86

This image shows the 1985-86 Majorettes posing outside at Appalachian State University (1967-current). The image shows Lynn Roberson, Veronica Ellison, Leslye Lassiter, Patricia Moore, Krispin Wagoner, Suzanne Rasheed, and Kara Wagoner. The Majorettes formed in 1939 as the Baton Twirling Club and performed routinely at parades and athletic events with the Marching Band during the academic year. Conrad Stadium was renamed Kidd-Brewer in 1988. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 336).
