Other speakers, faculty, and administrators can be seen sitting on the left and right. The man seated on the right is Dr. David McEntire, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. Speaking is Dr. Harvey R. Durham, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Seated on the right and wearing glasses is Dean Nicholas Ernest (Fine and Applied). The Honors Program is an academic and residential community for high achieving students and is open to freshmen, transfer students, and current students at Appalachian State.
