Homecoming Game, 1973, Marching Band, photo 2

This image shows the Marching Band standing in formation during halftime at the Homecoming game in Conrad Stadium, built 1962, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in October 1973. Majorettes can be seen on the right holding flags in front of the band. Homecoming was an annual event that included dramatic performances, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
