This image shows attendees of a luncheon held by the Alumni Association at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) during Homecoming in October 1966. People can be seen sitting at tables in Welborn Cafeteria, built 1925, watching as a man gives a presentation in the background. The Alumni Association started in 1934 and met at least once a year during Homecoming for reunions, association business, and officer elections. Speaking to the group is Mr. F.P. Bodenheimer, Board of Trustees. Seated and facing the camera are seen President and Mrs. William H. Plemmons.
