This image shows Jane Davenport, a member of the Homecoming court, standing on a staircase at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in October 1965. Homecoming was an annual event that included dramatic performances, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
