Homecoming Committee, circa 1965

This image shows the homecoming committee standing outside at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1960s. The committee helped organize and coordinate the parade and alumni activities. Homecoming was an annual event that included dramatic performances, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen.
