Homecoming Dance, 1985

This image shows the Romantics playing at the Varsity Gymnasium, built 1967, during the Homecoming dance at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in October 1985. Homecoming was an annual event that included dramatic performances, a parade, a dance, a football game, reunion activities, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 1908).
