This image shows a guest lecturer speaking to Watauga College students in an auditorium at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1986-87. Watauga College was founded in 1972 as a living/learning residential college within Appalachian State and was an alternative to the general education program for freshmen and sophomores. The male pictured is Dr. Jon Hageseth, Asst. Dir. of Psychological Services. The woman pictured sitting on the couch is Ms. Cheryl Freeman, Psychology faculty member. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 185).
