This image shows the performance of the play "Henry IV Part I" at the Valborg Theater in Chapell Wilson Hall, built 1938, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in October 1985. John Falstaff (Ned Austin) can be seen reaching for a mug being held by an unidentified actress. The performance was produced by the University Theatre. The Department of Theatre and Dance sponsors the University Theatre which produces several plays a year and holds auditions for the season that are open to all students. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 61).
