GREEK Giving Tree, 1985, photo 1

This image shows the Giving Tree put up during the Greek Relief Effort Especially for Kids (GREEK) at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in November-December 1985. Two boxes for donations are positioned on the left and right of the tree, and the sign on the wall reads, "The Giving Tree and ornaments are supplied by Christmas Creations of Blowing Rock." The event involved sororities and fraternities gathering donations including food and toys for needy children in Boone, NC. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 86).
