Description
This image shows the performance of the play "Antigone" at the Valborg Theater in Chapell Wilson Hall, built 1938, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in November 1986. Actors can be seen spread across the stage during a scene. The performance was produced by the University Theatre. The Department of Theatre and Dance sponsors the University Theatre which produces several plays a year and holds auditions for the season that are open to all students. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 105).
