Forensic Tournament, 1965

This image shows three members of the Debate Team at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) competing in a forensics tournament in 1965. Two teams can be seen sitting on two sides of a long table, with an announcer in the middle sitting behind a microphone. The Forensics Union, otherwise known as the Debate Team, partakes in intercollegiate debate competitions across the country with other universities and colleges.
