This image shows the members of the Student Home Economics Association at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for 1986-87. The Student Home Economics Association was a local chapter of the American Home Economics Association. It is now the Student Association of Family and Consumer Sciences and is in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. On the far left of the back row is Dr. Carol Wright, association advisor and home economics faculty. On the far right of the back row is Dr. Sammie Garner, association advisor and home economics faculty. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 171).
