North Carolina Association of Educators, 1986

This image shows the members of the North Carolina Association of Educators at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for 1986-87. The Appalachian State chapter of the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCEA) existed within the College of Education. Originally the North Carolina Education Association, it served as a state organization to promote education in North Carolina and included educators from across the state. On the fourth row far left is Dr. Marjorie Farris, Association advisor and member of the Department of Language, reading and Exceptionalism. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 155).
