Cheerleaders, 1986, photo 1

This image shows the Junior Varsity Black and Gold Cheerleaders at Appalachian State University (1967-current) posing for the camera in a gymnasium in 1986-87. Two women can be seen sitting on the shoulders of two men, while a third is standing on the shoulders of two others in the center. The Junior Varsity squad performed only at women's basketball games. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 349).
