Yosef, 1986, photo 1

This image shows Yosef, the Appalachian State University (1967-current) mascot, standing during a football game in the 1986 football season. Yosef can be seen holding an umbrella, wearing a plastic bag on his head, a garbage bag poncho, and a foam rubber hand. Yosef has been the official Appalachian State mascot since 1942. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 308-309).
