This image shows a member of the women's Track Team at Appalachian State University (1967-current) jumping over a raised bar at Conrad Stadium, built 1979, in 1986-87. A man can be seen kneeling in the background. Appalachian State's Track Team included distance races, hurdles, and pole vaulting. Conrad Stadium was renamed Kidd Brewer Stadium in 1988. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 333).
