Women's Track, 1986, photo 1

This image shows a member of the women's Track Team at Appalachian State University (1967-current) running a race on the track at Conrad Stadium, built 1979, in 1986-87. Another runner from Tennessee State University can be seen running on the right. Appalachian State's Track Team included distance races, hurdles, and pole vaulting. Conrad Stadium was renamed Kidd Brewer Stadium in 1988. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 332).
