This image shows sophomore AppolCorps Leader Connie Burgess walking on a sidewalk at Appalachian State University (1967-current) during Freshman Orientation in fall 1986. AppolCorps members helped familiarize incoming freshmen with the University, college life, registration, academic policies and procedures, and faculty. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 18).
