Athletic Trainers, 1986-87, photo 3

This image shows a man being weighed by an athletic trainer in the Athletic Department at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1986-87. Another student can be seen standing on the left. Athletic trainers included staff and students enrolled in the Athletic Training Curriculum, and worked to prevent and treat athletic injuries. Each varsity sport had at least one athletic trainer assigned to it, excepting football which had four. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 357).
