Girl at football game, 1986

This image shows a girl sitting on the wall in front of the bleachers at Conrad Stadium, built 1979, watching the first division I-AA playoff game between Appalachian State vs. Nicholls State football game on November 29, 1986. She can be seen holding two pom-poms in her lap. Appalachian State lost the game 26-28. Conrad Stadium was renamed Kidd Brewer Stadium in 1988. This image appears in the December 4, 1986, edition of "The Appalachian" (p. 1).
