Description

This image shows an African sculpture displayed in an exhibit during Black Heritage Week at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in October 1986. Black Heritage Week lasted from October 6-12, 1986, and emphasized the culture and heritage of African-American society. The event was sponsored by the Office of Minority Affairs and the Black Student Association. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 64).
