This image shows a student Anti-Nuclear Weapons Protest held at Appalachian State University (1967-current) and in Boone, NC, in April 1979. Students can be seen standing in front of the Boone U.S. Post Office on King Street and on the sidewalk, carrying protest signs and holding up a banner. The banner reads, "Freeze Nuclear Weapons Production."
