This image shows the winter convocation ceremony at Appalachian State Teachers College (1929-1967) in the 1960s. The foreground shows students from the Cannon Music Camp performing, and four administrators are standing in the background. Dean of Student Affairs O. Kenneth Webb can be seen on the right. Convocation was held the beginning of each term. President W.H. Plemmons can be partially seen on the left.
