This image shows international student Kiyoshi Adachi from Bolivia sitting in his dorm room in the International Hall at East Residence Hall, built 1952, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1985-86. In 1985, Appalachian State had approximately 110 international students from at least 25 different countries. International programs, international student services, and the Study Abroad program are provided by the Office of International Education and Development. This image appears in the 1986 Rhododendron (p. 27).
