This image shows Dr. Roy Carroll of the Appalachian State Art Department speaking at an awards ceremony held by the Honors Program in Welborn Cafeteria, built 1925, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1977-78. The Honors Program is an academic and residential community for high achieving students and is open to freshmen, transfer students, and current students at Appalachian State. From left to right: Dr. W.C.
