This image shows student Cynthia Rickenbaker holding a Sigma Alpha Iota Scholarship Award for Highest Scholarship in the Epsilon Theta Chapter at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1970s. Rickenbaker graduated in 1976. The Honors Program is an academic and residential community for high achieving students and is open to freshmen, transfer students, and current students at Appalachian State.
