This image shows nine of the top ten seniors in the Honors Program at Appalachian State University (1967-current) for the 1978-79 academic year. The image shows, in the front row, Margaret Edwards, Beesie Comer, Judy Holder, and Sherrie Wagoner, and in the second row, Joel Biggerstaff, John Brown, Charles Tompkins, John McMurray, Larry Horton, and Dr. Nicholas Erneston. The Honors Program is an academic and residential community for high achieving students and is open to freshmen, transfer students, and current students at Appalachian State.
