Freshman Orientation, 1979

A group of incoming students are seen taking a placement exam in an auditorium during freshman orientation at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in July 1979. Freshmen orientation included welcome addresses, advising, program meetings, campus tours and registering for classes, as well as placement testing.
