Enrichment Program, 1979, photo 1

This image shows students helping to hang pieces of cloth on a hose in a classroom during one of the Craft Enrichment Programs at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in November 1979. The Michael R. Patricelli Craft Enrichment Program was organized in the Department of Industrial Arts and Technological Education and offered craft workshops, including pottery, mosaics, welding, and blacksmithing. Appalachian State also offered extra-curricular and summer enrichment programs in various academic and athletic fields. They are managed by the Office of Conferences and Institutes.
