This image shows students in a class on music theory at the Cannon Music Camp at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in July 1969. A professor can be seen standing in the background in front of a chalkboard. The Cannon Music Camp began in 1969 and focused providing intensive group and individual training in performance and music theory. Recitals and concerts are performed regularly throughout the summer.
