This image shows students at the Cannon Music Camp at Appalachian State University (1967-current) practicing an orchestral performance in a classroom in I. G. Greer Hall, built 1950, August 1974. A conductor can be seen on the right. The Cannon Music Camp began in 1969 and focused providing intensive group and individual training in performance and music theory. Recitals and concerts are performed regularly throughout the summer.
