This image shows a man conducting students in a classroom in I. G. Greer Hall, built 1950, during the Cannon Music Camp at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the summer of 1975. The man is identified as E. Barry Ruth. The Cannon Music Camp began in 1969 and focused providing intensive group and individual training in performance and music theory. Recitals and concerts are performed regularly throughout the summer.
