Description

This image shows the attendees of a computer workshop held during the Physics and Astronomy Camp at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in June 1981. Two Commodore PET Model 4016 computers are positioned on a table in the foreground, and the students are seen wearing shirts reading, "I love my PET microcomputer, Appalachian State University Physics and Astronomy Camp." Appalachian State offered many summer programs, including camp activities at Camp Broadstone, math and science programs, music camps, and nature studies for children and adults. Summer camp programs are arranged through the Office of Conferences and Institutes.
