Student Governemnt Association, 1986-87

This image shows the members of the Student Government Association student senate at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1986. The Student Government Association formed as the Student Council in 1939-40, and serves as the students' only official voice to the Appalachian administration. The Student Senate is the main governing body and is composed of elected on and off campus students. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 49).
