Description

This image shows Professor Warren Dennis of the Art Department sitting on a stool in front of two of his paintings at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in June 1980. A painting of a man holding a trumpet is visible on the left, and a painting of a man standing with a hat is on the right. The Art Department was one of the first departments at Appalachian State and is located in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. It includes concentrations in clay, drawing, fibers, metals/jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.
