This image shows Ned Trivette, head of Business Affairs, shaking hands with a staff member during a staff awards luncheon held at Broyhill Inn and Conference Center, built 1972, at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in January 1980. The luncheon was to commemorate staff receiving awards for outstanding staff performance. Mr. Trivette is on the left. On the right is Mr. Grant Ayers, Director of New River Light and Power Company.
