Title

Campus Police, staff, photo 2

Description

This image shows a member of the Campus Police sitting on a bench in one of the campus gyms at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in 1986-87. Three other people can be seen sitting in the background. Campus police took responsibility for campus safety and parking enforcement for the main Appalachian State campus, University Water Systems, State Farm, and Camp Broadstone. Because of limited parking options on and off campus, student parking violations was one of the most visible of Campus Police services. This image appears in the 1987 Rhododendron (p. 395).
