This image shows a student leading a dog displaying a poster promoting student Mike Broome for office in the Student Government Association at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1970s. The sign reads, "Vote Mike Broome or I'll bite your leg off." Two more students can be seen in the background. Mike Broome served on the legislative branch of the Student Government Association and was president for the 1975-76 academic year.
