This image shows students walking up the road and sidewalk towards Farthing Auditorium, built 1974, at Appalachian State University (1967-current). Farthing is located on Rivers Street on the western side of Appalachian State, and is used for music and theatrical performances. The foreground shows the hillside and part of Rivers Street.
