This image shows students carrying luggage and boxes into Cannon Residence Hall, built 1968, during move-in day at Appalachian State University (1967-current) in the 1970s. People can be seen walking up stairs and into the front doors. Move-in day preceded the start of each semester when the dormitories opened and students began moving in to on-campus housing.
